"We are the bridge between national government and local communities, coordinating our decarbonisation efforts and empowering people to reduce their carbon footprint."

Andy Street

Former Mayor of the West Midlands

Local authority net zero toolkit

The toolkit, which includes a foreword from the former Mayor of the West Midlands, Andy Street, is a starting point for how to decarbonise. It includes:

  • Guidance on net zero

  • Common sense, cost-effective ideas

  • Case studies for energy and transport decarbonisation and nature-based solutions

  • Useful organisations

  • Updates on government guidance and policy

This net zero toolkit isn’t simply instruction manual on how to deliver change, but an invitation to join a rapidly growing network of conservatives – the biggest of its kind in the world – that is leading the way in decarbonisation and conservation.
